I was born in Cleveland Heights, Oh in 1958 and lived in Lakewood, OH until I was 5. In the summer of 1963 my family moved to Twinsburg, OH.

In 1976 I graduated from R.B. Chamberlin High School in Twinsburg and immediately enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving until 1980 when I was honorably discharged.

​

In 1982 I was hired as a police officer with the Twinsburg Police Department, retiring as a sergeant in 2011 after serving for 29 years.

​

I have always been interested in the unknown, reading everything I could about UFO's, aliens, Bigfoot, the Bermuda Triangle, the Loch Ness Monster and haunted locations.

​

In 1991 I conducted my first "investigation" at a fellow police officer's home in Twinsburg, where I captured what I believe was my first piece of evidence.

​

I did not have my first paranormal experience until December 1998 when I was staying with my sister in Missouri over the holidays.

​

In 2000 I met Kathy and we were married in 2002.

​

We discovered we both had an interest in the paranormal and started investigating together in 2003.

 

In 2005 we joined a paranormal team in Northeast Ohio and started investigating more locations, including private homes and businesses. 

​

In December 2012 Kathy and I left the team and formed our own team, Tri-C Ghost Hunters in January 2013.

​

I am a member of the Cleveland Haunt Club and have been a volunteer at the historic Ohio State Reformatory (OSR) in Mansfield, OH since 2013. I have been the Lead Paranormal Investigator at OSR since 2017. I also do the paranormal marketing for the WandIe House Museum in Brewster, Ohio as well as the Ghost Hunt Manager for the Historic Grafton School in Grafton, Ohio. I was also the former Ghost Hunt Manager at the old St. Joseph Hospital in Lorain, Ohio.

My wife Kathy and I are past event organizers for the Old St. Joseph Hospital Psychic & Paranormal Fair and the current organizers for the ParaPsyCon (Paranormal & Psychic Con) which is held every third weekend in May at the Ohio State Reformatory.

I have been on over 300 investigations in the U.S., Canada and Scotland and have investigated everything from a small one-bedroom apartment to a large medieval castle.
